There was plenty of promise in KING FERDINAND’s chase debut last time and with the prospect of him coming on for that run, he’s the one to beat. Early Arrival has been in good form and can give another good account while Union Park can be in the mix again.

15:10 – Still Ciel

This looks like a good opportunity for STILL CIEL (nap) who has been knocking on the door in maiden hurdles and looks open to further improvement on softer ground. Can’t Stop Smiling was an eyecatcher last time and Beyond Ambitious is a big player if she can match the level of her bumper form.

15:45 – Nomadic Star

A race lacking in quality. NOMADIC STAR is the tentative selection having posted one of his better efforts on return 12 days ago and he might come on for that first run in four months. Ucandoit has been shaping okay of late and Tincurra Lad might be able to bounce back from a below par run last time.

16:20 – Ballyshannon Rose

With three course wins to her name, including a Grade 2 novice chase, BALLYSHANNON ROSE could notch another one back over hurdles. French Dynamite and Cape Gentleman could be the ones to give her most to do.

16:55 – In A Nice Way

This looks competitive with the likes of last time out winner Natural Look feasibly treated after her recent win and Ardera Ru likely to appreciate a return to hurdles. It might be worth taking a chance on handicap debutante IN A NICE WAY who should relish this step up in trip and any rain that comes may help. Jungle Prose might come on from her recent reappearance.

17:30 – Little Soiree

Having been caught out a bit in a falsely-run Ballinrobe bumper on debut, LITTLE SOIREE should be sharper on this occasion and gain compensation. Elusive Guy could be the main danger with an ease in the ground likely, which may not suit A Law Of Her Own and Reginalds Tower as well.
