13:45 Exeter – Caspers Court (The Sun)

Gerard Mentor wouldn’t be an obvious candidate to follow one win with another and preference is for CASPERS COURT, a previous winner of this race who has been revitalised by cheekpieces. Chinook is also of interest on her first run for Sheila Lewis.

15:00 Gowran Park – Stormie Outlook (The Mail)

Something of a toss-up between STORMIE OUTLOOK, Drish Melody, and Lucky Queen who are closely matched on current form. Edward O’Grady’s runner get her turn now after a couple of seconds. Instrumental is perhaps not certain to reproduce his good Dundalk form on this surface but will not be far away if doing so. French Rescue and Slamadoor also boast solid recent form.

15:08 Newcastle – Balqaa (The Guardian)

Last month’s C&D winner Kiritimati Island may still have a bit more to offer and is respected, as is Frog And Toad following his encouraging AW debut over C&D on Friday. However, the vote goes to BALQAA who has scored twice here and ran an in-form rival close over C&D 11 days ago. Dual C&D winner Rocket Dancer has dropped below his last winning mark and is another to consider.

16:30 Yarmouth – Dark Design (Racing Post)

Roger Varian’s It Is Now continues to need excuses but DARK DESIGN has a very good 2-3 strike-rate over 6f and his C&D success in August was gained with authority. Peachey Carnehan, winner of his only C&D race, may well prove the main danger as Camachess has a question mark over her recent efforts. Haseef is worth a look for his new connections.
