14:30 – Drummin Life

DRUMMIN LIFE made nice progress at Thurles and can come forward again for an in-form trainer. Water Nymph is surely capable of better. Note Operatic Artist.

Something of a toss-up between STORMIE OUTLOOK, Drish Melody, and Lucky Queen who are closely matched on current form. Edward O’Grady’s runner get her turn now after a couple of seconds. Instrumental is perhaps not certain to reproduce his good Dundalk form on this surface but will not be far away if doing so. French Rescue and Slamadoor also boast solid recent form.

15:30 – Carirose

Last week’s Killarney winner Skontonovski should go well again off what is effectively just a 2lb higher mark, but CARIROSE wasn’t far away back in fifth on her first sighting since May. She could strip fitter for this and the conditions won’t faze her.

16:00 – Facethepuckout

Returning to his former yard has triggered a return to form for FACETHEPUCKOUT and he won with such authority last week that he can be expected to go in again. Sadiqaa is a solid alternative and The Pocket Flyer can also feature.

16:35 – Blazing Skies

Three of these have official ratings in the mid-70s. It may be worth taking a chance that BLAZING SKIES will stay on her first attempt beyond 1m. Being out of a Sea The Stars mare who is a sister to 1m4f Group 2 winner she has good prospects of doing so, and is preferred to Engagement Ring, who could be flattered by her 76 rating, and Zawahir who is reliable but limited.

17:10 – White Caviar

A sister to her trainer’s 2020 St Leger winner Galileo Chrome, WHITE CAVIAR (nap) does not look overburdened for her handicap debut. Winner of a 1m4f maiden on soft at Listowel, she could be too good for the likes of Extensio and Noble Crusade, older and more exposed rivals with solid recent form. In From The Cold is dropped in class and could make an impact at this level.
