Gary Moore’s 3yo HILL STATION has to be of interest on his handicap debut after chasing home a bang-in-form rival at Fontwell. Mordred has a lot of weight but his mark is manageable and he’s the danger. Encashment should run well for a good way but she’s flattered to deceive too many times for comfort.

15:55 – Fairway Freddy

There should be no hanging about here with Al Roc likely to take them along. If FAIRWAY FREDDY is in the same form as at Stratford on Saturday then this should be set up nicely for him.

16:30 – Tara Iti

Gary Moore won this 12 months ago and must have high hopes of winning it again with TARA ITI (nap) or Mark Of Gold, both of whom have better days ahead of them. The selection will feel let loose off his low weight and he gets the nod. Glimpse Of Gold and Sergeant come here in top form, Illico Des Places has potential for his excellent new trainer and the returning Overpriced Mixer would very much enter the reckoning if the ground remains good.

It was a bit of a gift for Blade Runner here last time and he’s taken on with ARTEMISION, who hinted at winning potential for his former yard and he’s undergone wind surgery ahead of this first run for Emma Lavelle. Not that Art Of Illusion is passed over lightly.
