Very little form to go on and it may pay to give Ascot also-ran PADDINGTON another chance. Rochester Mike could well play a role given normal improvement from his debut run, while of the newcomers the selection’s stablemate Carracci, along with barrier trial third Save Your Love and V Power appeal most.
14:00 – Ardad’s Great
An ordinary enough maiden for the venue and a good opportunity for ARDAD’S GREAT to score at the sixth attempt. The selection was travelling better than Hispanic when that rival became outpaced over an extra furlong here last month and of the two looks the more likely to be suited by this drop in trip. The latter is less exposed and has blinkers now fitted. Newcomer Parting Glass merits respect.

Off a light weight and back in trip AMERICAN SONJA (nap) could take some beating here on ground she handles. Clounmacon, McCauley’s Tavern and Net A Porter Queen look the most likely to fill the placings.
15:10 – Rockview Consort
Several with chances, none outstanding. ROCKVIEW CONSORT didn’t really handle the track at Bellewstown but finished her race off nicely and should relish this more galloping track. She is preferred over Adonis, Hibernia Oppositus and Harley Street, the latter another potential improver now upped in trip.
15:45 – Sir Allen
Dundalk winner Chally Chute is an obvious contender if as effective on soft ground but SIR ALLEN has no issues in that regard and the form of a couple of his runs over this trip gives him every chance. Persian Queen could go well at a price.
16:20 – Gambe Veloci
Unlucky in running at Listowel, GAMBE VELOCI had earlier shaped well at Cork and has an edge over Listowel runner-up Boher Road on collateral form. Merisi Diamond is a noteworthy newcomer for Joanna Morgan. Coolree is capable of making his presence felt.

A staying-on third at Cork on his first run since returning to Michael O’Callaghan, FACETHEPUCKOUT looks the part now for Colin Keane. Bellewstown second Nyla Rua and the dependable Miracles In May are likely to be in the mix.

The handicapper has given SWIFT FLIGHT a chance and, if a first-time hood has the desired effect, he can take advantage at a venue where he goes well. Last-time-out winners Shoebox King and Ever Rock merit consideration.
