13:35 Hereford – Times Are Blue (Luke Tucker)

TIMES ARE BLUE is a stoutly bred gelding who was nicely on top in closing stages of five-runner Plumpton bumper on debut in May. Should have a lot more to offer over jumps and is a leading contender here.

14:30 Leicester – Highbank (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

HIGHBANK was turned over at short odds in notable conditions race at Newbury last month, proving no match for 5l winner. However, had been impressive at Newmarket in July and may yet build on that highly promising debut. From leading yard and remains of interest.

15:55 Hereford – Simply Red (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

SIMPLY RED is a dual hurdle winner for new stable this season, and posted another career-best effort when second to well-backed winner at Worcester last month. Commands respect in current form.

16:50 Leicester – Farhh To Shy (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)

FARHH TO SHY came up short over 1m at Royal Ascot and over 6f at Newmarket the last twice. Has form figures of 14211 over 7f, most recently scoring nicely at Doncaster in April. Could well resume her progress returned to this distance. Respected.
