The level of COMMON PRACTICE’s Flat form means he could easily leave the form of his opening hurdle run behind so he gets the nod, although a strong market move for Gordon Elliott’s French Flat recruit Bestaline would put a slightly different slant on things. Bridgehead was a promising second on his hurdle debut and looks best of the rest.

RICKY LANGFORD returned to his best to take advantage of a lenient mark over fences at Killarney 9 days ago and is only 2 lb higher back over hurdles. One Cool Poet and From The Ashes head the dangers.
14:55 – Abacadabras
ABACADABRAS is the form pick and should strip fitter for his reappearance at Tipperary, so he’s preferred to recent Galway winner Darver Star in a race that is likely to develop into a match.
15:30 – Cool Survivor
COOL SURVIVOR produced his best effort in bumpers when sixth in a deep race at this track in the spring and sure to stay well over obstacles, he makes as much appeal as any of these. Patricks Hill was going well when falling last time and has to be of interest, with Suain na Draoicht open to progress.
16:05 – Follow The Crowd
FOLLOW THE CROWD is progressing steadily and, having gained a deserved first win in cosy fashion over fences at Roscommon last time, he boasts excellent claims of following up off a 6 lb lower mark in this sphere. Arrycan is also returning to the smaller obstacles and appeals as a danger, while it would be dangerous to dismiss Maxxum on his first outing for Gordon Elliott.
16:40 – Grozni
It’s probably best to draw a line through GROZNI‘s latest effort at Listowel and he is better judged on his Navan breakthrough success just 2 days earlier. The 6-y-o shapes as though well worth another crack at this trip and he remains on a nice mark based on his bumper exploits. The hat-trick seeking Balkito will be a big threat if fully tuned-up following a break, while Bonne Debut, Benkei and Punters Poet are others to consider.
17:10 – Williamstowndancer
WILLIAMSTOWNDANCER and Mollys Mango are appealing newcomers from top yards and could be the pair to focus on, the Willie Mullins-trained filly narrowly preferred before market clues. Ballycashin would be a big player if building on her promising Wexford run.
