13:35 Chepstow – Cloth Cap
The only one with a fitness advantage is Al Roc, who ran on October 3. The rest are debuting this season so are on a level playing field. Cloth Cap, who is running off a mark of 144, should have too much for the rest.

13:50 Newmarket – Wodao
I’m going to take a chance on Wodao for Donnacha O’Brien. His form last season ties in with The Antarctic and he won last time out at Tipperary. We could get the same here.

14:10 Chepstow – Quid Pro Quo
Quid Pro Quo will go off the favourite and will most likely win but I’m keeping an eye on Scipion for Tom Lacey. There’s a big race in him for sure.
14:25 Newmarket – Believing
I’m going for Believing, who had a cracking run at Ayr last time out. The form is strong enough and he’s good value for Kevin Stott and George Boughey.
14:40 York – Cruyff Turn
I’m taking a chance on Cruyff Turn for Tim Easterby. He’s running for the first time in 50 days and the last time he had a layoff similar to that (60 days) he came back and won. He’s off a good mark so he’ll do me.
15:00 Newmarket – Sacred
It’s between Pogo and Sacred. It all depends on whether Pogo jumps out and whether Sacred can catch him. I was impressed with Sacred last time when she won at Newbury and she can catch Pogo and get to him.
15:15 York – Shouldvebeenaring
I’m going to take on Streets Of Gold with Shouldvebeenaring. He’d won three on the spin before finishing fourth at Newbury last time out. This is a drop in class and he can bounce back.

15:35 Newmarket – Sparkling Beauty
I’m with Sparkling Beauty for Richard Hughes, with David Egan on board. I know Wed didn’t bolster the Deauville form but I’m still sticking with her. She also had a good win at Goodwood before that. She’s a good each-way price.
15:50 York – Post Impressionist
I’m keen on Post Impressionist for William Haggas. They’ve been getting it wrong with him but this seems the ideal trip. He ran well at Haydock last time and this track will also suit him.
