A dangerous race with a few unknowns lurking, including those with pointing experience. MOUNT BONETE has had the form of his second in a maiden point franked and he edges preference over Ferret Jeeter, Tommy Cullen and Lilting Verse. The market could be enlightening.

The claim of Ben Ffrench Davis is welcomed with CHIVES carrying 12st 2lb and he could be too good for these, even after his absence. Jaunty Soria is the obvious danger after good runs at this track and Rare Clouds also needs considering.
16:30 – High Stakes
A trappy little race and, with no fitness issues, Red Happy isn’t to be underestimated. However, HIGH STAKES and Shearer appeal as horses with more to offer and the Greatrex runner edges preference.
17:05 – Rare Edition
It is looking a decent bumper that RARE EDITION won at Southwell and he’s taken to make a winning start over hurdles, probably at the main expense of the promising Camulus. Nothing else is wildly appealing.
