Hore Racing Tips: This 3/1 pick has caught our eye at Huntingdon today

The Racing Post tipster likes the look of Sparkling Dawn in the 16:00.

13:05 – Exciting News

All four have shown an aptitude for jumping hurdles but it was EXCITING NEWS who created the best impression when winning without much fuss at Market Rasen. Graffiti is her most likely danger.

13:40 – Lelantos

Getthepot has to bounce back from what was an unpleasant fall only three weeks ago and preference is for the chasing debutant LELANTOS, who has been running solid races over hurdles. Voyburg is another who might be seen to better effect in this discipline. Jean Genie lacks a run but is on a handy mark

14:15 – Collectors Item

Jonjo O’Neill’s COLLECTORS ITEM has chased home very promising horses in both his starts and this looks very winnable. Great Heart’Jac has had a break since failing to give his running the last time and, if back to his best, he could be a greater threat than Rock Legend.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

14:50 – Jens’ Boy

JEN’S BOY comes here at the top of his game so is taken to make light of a 4lb rise for his Newton Abbot victory and follow up at the chief expense of Worcester winner Moon King. C&D scorer Innisfree Lad has gone well when fresh so can’t be ruled out on his return.

15:25 – A Mere Bagatelle

Jonjo O’Neill has a good hand with Pens Man and Joly Maker (feared in that order) but a chance is taken on Irish raider A MERE BAGATELLE, for whom early mistakes were no help when below par over hurdles at Gowran last Friday. He might have gone close in a handicap chase at Downpatrick the time before had his rider not lost his irons when the gelding clouted two out.

16:00 – Sparkling Dawn (NAP)

The 10yo SPARKLING DAWN (NAP) has low mileage for one of her age and the narrow failure on her debut for this yard was after a break, so she’s able when fresh. Samatian was making some progress back in the spring and he’s feared most after wind surgery. Runwiththetide has it in her to go well if rediscovering some spark.

16:35 – Miss Bamby

All of these have something to prove. MISS BAMBY wasn’t at her best last time but she was running well before then and is close to her last winning mark. It is a five-month absence that’s the worry for Bells Of Stamford but he’s the big danger if ready to roll.

17:10 – Polemon

With no form to go on market movements are naturally awaited with interest. POLEMON never raced on the Flat despite his excellent pedigree but he still holds obvious appeal for last year’s winning yard. Keith Dalgleish won this two years ago, heightening interest in Notimeforanother.
