13:15 – Breizh Sky
Breizh Sky fought on in fine style when just edged out by Tigrais in the Prix La Rochette over C&D last time, and I’d fancy him to get his revenge, for all there’s clearly not much between the pair. Both are proved over 7f, unlike The Antarctic.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
13:50 – Wed
Wed has a modest pedigree, but looks a bit of a freak, having won her last two races easily, and she hit the line hard when winning the Prix du Calvados at Deauville last time. The extra yardage will help, and while a wide draw is an annoyance, she ought to be favourite for this.
15:05 – Onesto
I’ve backed Do Deuce for this after his defeat in the Prix Niel, as I thought he was in need of the run, and he shaped well until getting tired. If tackling the race now, however, and with the ground likely to be soft, I’d be very keen on Onesto, who ran really well when beaten half a length by Luxembourg in the Irish Champion, and who is proven over this trip having beaten a smart field in the Grand Prix de Paris.
15:50 – Above the Curve
La Parisienne would have been the pick, but a draw in 15 will test her, and that’s also the case with Nashwa and Tuesday. In the circumstances, I’ve switched allegiance to Above The Curve, who should get a better run through, and was really tough when winning the Blandford Stakes in the mud last time.

16:25 – The Platinum Queen
The Platinum Queen has a simple plan in the Abbaye – to bounce out in front and try to get her rivals on the back foot. Connections rued the extra 3 yards when she was beaten in the Flying Childers, so they will be over the moon that this race is run over 6 yards short of 5f!
17:00 – Tenebrism
There are very few Group 1 races at this trip, and Tenebrism won the only other one in the European calendar open to her when taking the Prix Jean Prat in July. She’s run well at 1m either side of that, and returned to her ideal trip, she can regain the winning thread.
