14:06 Newmarket – Land Of Summer
Ruby Walsh:
I’m with Land Of Summer for Richard Hannon in stall 28. She’s only got 8st 4lbs on her back and she’s a big price. She’s had a couple of good runs at Goodwood this year and she ran at Ascot in the summer too.
14:42 Newmarket – Saffron Beach
Ruby Walsh:
I left Leopardstown thinking that Homeless Songs could reverse the form on Saffron Beach. However, I’m not sure now with Homeless Songs now wearing a tongue tie for the first time. I didn’t see that coming so for that reason, I’m going to side with Saffron Beach.
15:21 Redcar – Barefoot Angel
Rory Delargy:
Her draw is a slight worry with low numbers usually favoured here, but Barefoot Angel looked good when winning the Group 3 Firth of Clyde Stakes at Ayr last time. Very few of these can match that form, and Richard Fahey’s progressive filly is going from strength to strength.
Ruby Walsh:
Barefoot Angel was brilliant at Ayr and she was the best horse in the race. There isn’t much else to say!
15:57 Redcar – Pisanello
Ruby Walsh:
I’m going with Pisanello for David Nolan and David O’Meara. He has finished third on his last three runs but I’m expecting him to go better this time out.
16:27 Newmarket – Whimsy
Rory Delargy:
This is a tough race but I’m siding with Andrew Balding’s Whimsy. The step up in trip will suit her and she has impressed in her last few runs. She’s won two and finished second twice in her last four.
