The draw on the wing needs negotiating but CARNIVAL ZAIN made it 2-2 for Becky Smith when coming clear here in July and he still looked to have something in reserve when winning his only subsequent 7f start. Able Kane seems the most obvious front-runner and those drawn near him include Final Watch, who is interesting on his 2021 form now back on turf, and Pocket The Profit, unexposed over 7f and a strong finisher at Epsom on his latest attempt at the trip in June. Kimifive, Dance Fever and Young Fire are others to make some appeal.
14:50 Fontwell – Bahtiyar (The Times)
C&D winner Mothill ought to be a tough nut to crack under his penalty but the suggestion is BAHTIYAR, who ran well on his British debut this month and may have a fitness edge. Fascinating Lips is an interesting recruit from the Flat.
15:17 Gowran Park – Only One Plan (Expert Eye)
The unexposed ONLY ONE PLAN might be the one to side with. He’s improving with every run and has fewer miles on the clock than his rivals. Hard Rain is a big danger if fully fit on return and Will You Win should appreciate the return to handicap company.
16:45 Hexham – Storm Lorenzo (Racing Post)
A change of fortune is due for STORM LORENZO, who was perhaps unlucky not to win at Uttoxeter before slipping up here. Abington Park is the obvious danger, though watch out for any confidence behind Gandhi Maker.
