WIN £/€100,000 WITH PADDY’S PICK 5 THIS SATURDAY!

13:35 – Catena Zapata

A tidy round of jumping could be enough to see dual Dundalk winner CATENA ZAPATA account for these rivals on his hurdling debut. Gordon Elliott’s Wee Willie Nail has the advantage of experience, but his official rating of 105 leaves the bar at a fairly low level. Bumper winner Art Of Experience, who went at the second at Listowel last Saturday, looks capable of making his presence felt if avoiding error.

14:07 – Saylavee

This may boil down to a duel between a pair of Mullins and Elliott bumpers winners. Dual winner SAYLAVEE gets the vote over The Mediator who achieved more when beaten at Fairyhouse than when winning at Down Royal. Bushmans Pass and Ballinlough Gale may compete for a minor share of the money.

14:42 – Cracklinrose

Not many of these arrive in decent form. CRACKLINROSE is an exception after a big run on chase debut last time and she had been going close over timber previously. Unlaoised is a big danger if she handles the shorter trip and A Mere Bagatelle is a fairly consistent performer at this level.

15:17 – Only One plan

The unexposed ONLY ONE PLAN might be the one to side with. He’s improving with every run and has fewer miles on the clock than his rivals. Hard Rain is a big danger if fully fit on return and Will You Win should appreciate the return to handicap company.

15:52 – Champagne Problem

Willie Mullins has won this race in five of the last seven years. Though not yet a polished jumper, CHAMPAGNE PROBLEM has a big engine and can stretch her unbeaten hurdles record to three. Outback Flyer may give her most to do.

16:27 – Highland Penny

One of these should fall the way of Guiri at some point but he might have bumped into one again here in the shape of hat-trick seeking HIGHLAND PENNY. She made easy work of her latest assignment in handicap company and an 11lb rise might not be enough to stop this progressive mare again. Moving Water is another on an upward curve bidding for a hat-trick but a 10lb rise might be a bit harsh for his latest success.

17:02 – Sargent Lightfoot

A winner on his chasing debut at Kilbeggan, SARGENT LIGHTFOOT (nap) deserves another shot at a handicap hurdle and can make the most of this opportunity. The veteran Hurricane Darwin looked in fine shape at Listowel and Serpolette provided reassurance with a lively effort at Navan following a lapse at Bellewstown.

17:37 – Dorans Weir

Some nice types in here. DORANS WEIR carries a penalty for her Listed success towards the end of last season and she proved that was no fluke when beaten three lengths in a Grade 3 at the Punchestown festival when last seen. She might be capable of conceding weight to all if tuned up for her return. Jetara looks like a nice prospect and Kiss My Lucky Egg is a fascinating recruit for Emmet Mullins. The main danger to the selection could be Katie Tay if she learns to settle better.
