NEW TO PADDY POWER NEWS?
13:50 – Lone Star
In a tricky-looking mares’ event a chance is taken on LONE STAR, who has yet to win a race but is becoming very well handicapped. Ayr Of Elegance and Blue Collar Glory are two others to consider.
14:25 – Five Dollar Fine
This is not the most competitive of novice hurdles and the suggestion is the winning Irish pointer FIVE DOLLAR FINE, who can make the most of the weight he receives from dual C&D hurdle winner Fringill Dike.
15:00 – Dillarchie
She has fitness to prove after her break but DILLARCHIE was second over C&D in her first two handicaps, and the horse that beat her both times was on the first two legs of an as yet unbroken four-timer. She gets the vote ahead of Thatbeatsbanagher, who comes here after a pretty stylish win at Sedgefield this month. Ange Endormi has done well for his new stable this summer and is next on the list.

15:35 – Captain Tom Cat
In an interesting race CAPTAIN TOM CAT, who developed into a very useful novice chaser last season, can take advantage of his lower hurdles mark by beating Willaston and Coolbane Boy.
16:10 – Saint Arvans
Minella Plus makes his chasing debut from his last winning hurdle mark and with a satisfactory reappearance run under his belt but preference is for the proven experience of SAINT ARVANS, who has already won three times over fences and is very well suited by this track.
16:45 – Storm Lorenzo
A change of fortune is due for STORM LORENZO (nap), who was perhaps unlucky not to win at Uttoxeter before slipping up here. Abington Park is the obvious danger, though watch out for any confidence behind Gandhi Maker.
17:20 – Going Mobile
Two of these, GOING MOBILE and Ensel Du Perche, took turns on the lead when filling the first two positions over 1m7f here this month and it will be interesting to see how their private tactical battle unfolds today. Both should be okay over this longer trip but Sam England’s runner has the more persuasive overall record.
