WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

13:00 – My Little Toni

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and this could again rest between Lucky Lover Boy, MY LITTLE TONI and Major Snugfit who came home 1-2-3 in a good finish over C&D last month. Preference this time is for Donald McCain’s low-mileage filly who has since got off the mark here and can follow up on just her second go in handicap company.

13:35 – Mctigue

Vintage Valley starts out hurdling in excellent hands so is not without interest and Bringbackmemories showed more than enough when second on his debut in this sphere to capture a contest of this nature. However, fellow Irish challenger MCTIGUE was a very useful performer on the level and brings considerable potential to hurdling so he gets the vote on his debut for Emmet Mullins.

14:10 – Jessica Rabbit

All of these with chasing experience come with risks attached so Fergal O’Brien’s JESSICA RABBIT is taken to go in at the first time of asking over fences and build on her solid start over hurdles for her current yard. Post No Bills is weighted to have a say if back on song after a modest showing when tried in cheekpieces at Market Rasen while Nefyn Point (second choice) also warrants lots of respect if backing up his C&D second last time out.

14:45 – Sizing Mauritius

The market could reveal plenty here but preference is for SIZING MAURITIUS, who looked a good prospect when opening his account at Kilbeggan (form worked out well) in the spring and can make a winning start for Sam Drinkwater. Irish challenger Grey Market is feared most, although Legionar has the potential to have a big say too.

15:20 – Master Malachy

The vote goes to MASTER MALACHY (NAP), who has taken his form up a level since switched to fences and can make light of a 6lb rise for his wide-margin C&D success and go 3-3 in this sphere. Cawthorne arrives at the top of his game and may prove the biggest danger, though in-form duo Tico Times and If Not For Dylan can’t be discounted either.

15:55 – Idilico

This looks wide open and marginal preference is for IDILICO, who hails from a yard among the winners and can race off the same mark as when a very good recent second at Perth. Zamond looks the pick of the Donald McCain-trained duo and is feared most, ahead of last year’s winner Just Call Me Al and in-form Presenting Pete.

16:30 – Gentle Slopes

Not much form to go on here but GENTLE SLOPES fetched £90,000 after an easy Irish point win in the spring and is taken to make a winning start for Milton Harris. Thirsty Weather has already shown fair form in this sphere when twice in the frame and is feared most ahead of Big Gangsta.
