It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

14:54 Ayr – Abduction (Daily Record, Garry Owen)
ABDUCTION has won two of his last four starts at 7f, narrowly over C&D on debut for new yard. Up 3lb to a career-high mark.
15:01 Southwell – Between The Waters (Racing Post, Lambourn)
BETWEEN THE WATERS is a three-time winner over fences but not since June 2019. Returned to racing under rules with two very underwhelming hurdle runs this summer but might be seen to better effect now back over fences, and is on a very good mark now.
15:20 Sedgefield – Master Malachy (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)
MASTER MALACHY is a real chasing type who has made an excellent start over fences, going 2-2 with easy C&D success over Presenting Dylan 26 days ago. Up 6lb but he still looks weighted to complete a hat-trick.
15:45 Cork – Georgeville (On The Nose, Expert Eye)
GEORGEVILLE was a 1m2f Listed winner at Leopardstown on final start of last season. Has found Group company a bit too tough in recent starts but this is more his level and he can give a good account. Very best form over a bit further.
