Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
13:05 Hamilton – Lord P (Ipswich Star, Matt Polley)
Back-to-back winner on the back of a wind op for today’s rider last summer. Recent efforts have been mixed up at 7f but his mark is easing all the time and not dismissed out of hand returned to 6f now.
13:30 Down Royal – Cavallo Pazzo (On The Nose, Expert Eye)
Once-raced gelding. Well backed, lost all chance having blown the start when eleventh of 17 in maiden at Tipperary (5f) back in May. Kept on under hands-and-heels ride then and likely there’s plenty more to come.
14:13 Hamilton – Refuge (Daily Record, Garry Owen)
Developed into a reliable performer this term, bagging a third C&D victory in July. Produced just about his best effort to date when second of 21 in handicap at Ayr (5f) 11 days ago and he’s not discounted.
17:13 Newton Abbot – Caspers Court (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)
Snapped a losing run when narrowly prevailing at Fontwell (21.8f, good to soft) in June (front 2 pulled well clear of the rest). Perhaps a shade fortunate that day (left in the lead 3 out) but 4 lb rise fair and he’s in with a shout.
