So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:40 Ffos Las – She’s Hot (Racing Post, Lambourn)

Runner-up on three of her four starts, with the exception a very respectable ninth in 6f Group 3 at Royal Ascot; SHE’S HOT was not at her best when turned over at short odds at Thirsk (1m, good) last month but the winner was recently placed in a competitive nursery and is improving quickly; today’s drop back in trip ought to suit; sets a fairly useful standard.

15:25 Epsom – Tartan Chief (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

0-6 this year and has been beaten at 11-2 or shorter on his last five starts so is becoming expensive to follow; however, TARTAN CHIEF has been running really well in defeat of late (including here) and can be bang there once more.

16:30 Epsom – New Pursuit (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

His first start as both 2yo and 3yo were wins at this track, latterly in a C&D handicap in April; two modest shows from NEW PURSUIT were brushed aside when he went very close at Windsor on latest start (Nuvolari fifth); combined with his course record, that puts him high on the list.

16:55 Ffos Las – V Twelve (Ipswich Star, Matt Polley)

Made steady if unspectacular progress in his three qualifying runs, most recently when V TWELVE well-held third of seven over C&D (soft) two months ago, and ought to have more to offer in handicaps; no surprise if he features.
