Whitebeam, the grey daughter of Caravaggio, has already beaten the favourite over at Newbury and I feel she has a little up her sleeve as it was a cosy win in a handicap last time. Crystal Caprice is getting the hang of things but still can be a little keen. That would be my only concern with her and my filly has no such worries.

I thought Yaaser had a really good run at Newcastle behind Raising Sand. He runs off the same mark here and a reproduction of his run at Ascot, when not beaten all that far in the handicap that Fresh won, would be good enough to see this horse in the money.

Ever since they removed the hood on Eternal Pearl she has started winning. She got narrowly beaten by the favourite, Sea Silk Road, at Goodwood on soft ground but I can see her maintaining her recent winning vein of form even though she is giving away 3lbs over this longer trip. She really stays well.
14:40 Haydock – Zain Nights
Harry and Roger Charlton do well with 3 year olds that they run over a trip and Zain Nights certainly fits the bill. He stays well and he ran over 2m last time at Goodwood. He is versatile on ground so if some rain does arrive it won’t affect his chances. Baltic Bird is the obvious danger. He’s favourite but he was very disappointing at Royal Ascot.
