Six meetings are scheduled across the tracks in the UK and Ireland today – and our nifty NAPs Table is here to steer you on the day’s best bets.
Our daily racing NAPs Table is your one-stop shop with today’s top tips from the cream of the British and Irish racing press. The tipsters are ranked by their profit or loss to Level Stakes, so you know who has been firing in the winners and who, err, hasn’t.
You can find all their NAPs by scrolling down to the table at the bottom of this page; otherwise, here’s a round-up of today’s action.
The Grade 1 Howden Long Walk Hurdle (14:25) tops the bill at Ascot as last year’s winner Crambo faces Strong Leader and a quartet of Irish challengers spearheaded by The Wallpark. Despite only attracting four runners, the Class 2 Howden Graduation Chase (13:50) looks a cracker as Fil Dor, Iroko, James Du Berlais and Jungle Boogie face off.
Elsewhere on the card, Coral Gold Cup third Victtorino is the favourite for the Howden Silver Cup Handicap Chase (15:00) and Kabral Du Mathan bids to continue his perfect record over timber in the Ladbrokes Handicap Hurdle (15:35).
Famous Bridge has to defy top weight to land successive renewals of the Class 2 Tommy Whittle Handicap Chase (14:05) at Haydock, the Listed Billy Harney Memorial Irish EBF Mares Novice Hurdle (14:30) is the feature at Thurles and there’s a Gavin and Stacey theme to some of the races at Hereford.
The all-weather fixtures in the evening at Newcastle and Wolverhampton round off proceedings.
