Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

14:45 Perth – Quantum Realm (Daily Record, Harry Owen)

One of two runners for the Gordon Elliott stable. Things have clicked for QUANTUM REALM over fences after an inauspicious start. Successive wins, including one over 2m4f here, before just touched off over same C&D last time. Return to a longer trip looks a plus.

16:03 Redcar – Knightswood (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

KNIGHTSWOOD was only midfield in his first three handicaps but they were at Royal Ascot, Newmarket July meeting and Glorious Goodwood. Sights were lowered at Beverley for latest outing and he came last of five. Lack of room perhaps costing him third place once he’d been headed but he still needs better.

16:20 Listowel – Hurricane Georgie (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

HURRICANE GEORGIE is an improving young mare. Two wins over hurdles before completing a hat-trick with a decisive success in the Midlands National at Kilbeggan. 14-1 when unseated at first in the Galway Plate. Good 7lb claimer aboard now.

20:15 Kempton – Hot Legs Lil (Racing Post, Lambourn)

HOT LEGS LIL was a runner-up in C&D novice for Joseph Tuite last December and seemed to respond well to first-time blinkers when fourth in Salisbury handicap in June. Below form over 5f later that month but starts off for new trainer on good mark and has the inside draw. Cheekpieces tried this time.
