Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs Table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…

15:45 Ayr – Grantley Hall (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

Unexposed filly who scored comfortably dropped back to 5f at Beverley (good to firm) last month, taking record to 2-5; GRANTLEY HALL‘s other win came over 6f at Redcar in June; open to further progress and warrants respect.

17:00 Newton Abbot – Charming Berry (The Irish Field, Rory Delargy)

A fair degree of guesswork is involved so it is only with limited confidence that CHARMING BERRY gets the vote. He ran well to be second to a well-backed, useful-looking sort on his debut and normal improvement may be enough to see him get off the mark. The dangers are headed by Letterston Lady and Eire Street, in that order.

17:05 Newbury – Further Measure (Racing Post, Lambourn)

Sole British win was over 1m on AW last September; absent since a fair fourth at turn of the year in first-time blinkers, which are now dispensed with; it’s unclear what his best trip is and FURTHER MEASURE may be best watched anyway given his layoff.

17:45 Kempton – Classic Order (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

Only beaten a total of three rivals in three 6f turf novices (gelded before latest outing); the extra furlong should suit CLASSIC ORDER, on pedigree now making his nursery/AW debut and blinkers are given a go, but he has an awkward draw.
