13:20 Ayr – Revich

It’s a hard race to get a handle on so I’m going to take a chance on REVICH. He ran on Thursday but that was over a mile and a quarter, which is too far for him. He’s won at Ayr before over a mile and could get a good position from stall 2. It’s hard to see him winning but he’s an each-way chance for me!

13:40 Newbury – Lysander

LYSANDER is lightly raced and hasn’t run since placing third behind Changingoftheguard at Royal Ascot. He wears a tongue tie for the first time and could be unexposed. Plenty of these just are what they are.

13:55 Ayr – Dark Moon Rising

DARK MOON RISING has decent form when fresh and comes here off the back of a break. Kevin Ryan must have thought enough of him to pitch him into Group races and he may well find his level dropping down in grade. At a good price, he has an each-way chance!

14:15 Newbury – Adaay To Remember

I’m surprised it’s taken so long to try ADAAY TO REMEMBER at 5f but she hasn’t been getting home over 6f and they have to try something. She was drawn on the wrong side at Naas last time out and chased home Flotus down the straight at York in July. Adaay To Remember could be worth something on her first try over this trip.

14:30 Ayr – Jump The Gun

There’s a load of horses that will chase the pace in the high numbers, which could set it up for JUMP THE GUN in stall 25 at a big price. He was poor on his last start behind Fresh over 7f and he’ll be suited by dropping in trip. The way he’s ridden he’ll be coming home from 25.

14:50 Newbury – Sakheer

This Group 2 race over 6f is the first of this week’s Paddy Pick 5 races. I think it’s so hard to get away from SAKHEER. He was so impressive at Haydock last time out.

15:05 Ayr – Queen Me

It’s hard to get away from the favourite, QUEEN ME. She had a good run at York in the Lowther last time behind Swingalong with Matilda Picotte and Mawj behind her. That’s strong enough form.

15:25 Newbury – Hamaki

I’m going against the Godolphin horses and backing HAMAKI. He won at Ascot last time out from Supagirl, who went to York since and was fourth behind Haskoy so the form has worked out OK. Adam Farragher claims 5lbs bringing the weight down to 1lb below his Ascot-winning mark giving him a great chance.

15:40 Ayr – Gis A Sub

There’s a lot of hold-up horses in this race so that drew me to GIS A SUB. He likes to be handy without having to make it. He raced all the way to the line at York on his last start over 5½f as he had to make ground up. He looked like he wanted to do it after being gelded and he could be able to sit inside the frontrunners here without being hassled from behind. He could be in the mix all the way down the straight.
