Sir Rodneyredblood has the widest draw to contend with but he should still make a bold bid. Amasova went very close on turf on Tuesday and Reckon I’m Hot shouldn’t be far away, but ON REFLECTION makes his handicap debut at a modest level and with further progress on the cards.

17:30 – Ghassan
There are some interesting newcomers, notably He’s A Monster and Opera Legend, but the two to focus on could be Chartwell House and GHASSAN. The former has the best form and should go well despite his penalty but the selection shaped with some promise at Sandown last month and could take a step forward with that run behind him.
18:00 – Woolhampton
Fairly useful maiden WOOLHAMPTON has been keeping better company of late and is taken to open her account back down in grade. The consistent Harry Brown and Radio Goo Goo are next best on the figures but a bigger threat to the selection may be Apppointed One, who showed promise from a very wide draw here in July and is open to plenty of progress for his powerful yard.
18:30 – Senor Pockets
The shortlist is headed by the last-time-out scorers SENOR POCKETS and Lumacho, who are open to further progress in nurseries. Slight preference is for Senor Pockets, who gained his win over C&D. Third choice is Byefornow, who has claims back down in trip/class.
19:00 – City Walk
A good sprint in which most of the nine runners can have a solid case argued. Dubai Station and Apollo One (second choice) come into it on their C&D runs in May, while Tolstoy is better than he showed on his stable debut and May Sonic could have been freshened up by a break. CITY WALK (nap) failed to fire on turf last time but his two AW runs this season have seen him produce very smart efforts and he could well have more to give on this surface. He can take another step up the sprinting ladder today.

19:30 – Schwartz
Gordons Aura stays this trip well but has his own way of doing things and he needs to show this sharp test at the trip is what’s wanted. Ochil House has his sights lowered after a tough handicap debut at Haydock but SCHWARZ continues in very good form and can complete the four-timer.
20:00 – Bankawi
Some are open to improvement but BANKAWI is likeably consistent in this grade and she rates the safest option. Roaring Rosa and Winning Empress have potential.
20:30 – Seal Of Solomon
Ed Dunlop’s SEAL OF SOLOMON was unlucky in his hat-trick bid at Yarmouth and reverting back to the AW won’t faze him. Travesuras looks dangerous with Harry Davies taking off 3lb and both Engrave and At Liberty should also be involved when it matters.
