The selection’s stablemate Promises To Keep is respected, as are the Jessica Harrington duo of Lan Cinnte and Yuzu.

On the back of a promising Curragh debut, GULF OF MEXICO should be able to make the necessary progress to score today, though the likelihood of soft ground poses a question The supposed Aidan O’Brien second-string can frequently trump a better-fancied stablemate, so Duke Cador has to be feared, as he has the pedigree to handle soft ground. Young Ireland has the form to run well if at his best, while Intellotto is of interest.
14:35 Karlsberg
Admirable ten-year-old Geological is in flying form of late and it would be no surprise if he was involved again. The Blue Panther is likely to go well, as is Coins Cross and Angel Girl. Preference is for KARLSBERG, who bounced back to winning ways at Tipperary last time and is only up 2lb. Band Width can give the selection most to think about.

15:10 Goodie Two Shoes (NAP)
The Shunter takes a big drop in trip here but if arrives in the form he’s capable of showing then he shouldn’t be ignored. Monaasib is respected and seems well treated on some of his best form, while Once Upon A River is in the right hands to progress. But it’s hard to get away from GOODIE TWO SHOES (nap). She looked very talented when winning at Killarney on debut and should have plenty more to offer.
15:45 Saturn Five
SATURN FIVE shaped with promise on debut at Roscommon and may not have to improve much to take care of business here. Pollanassa will prefer a sounder surface, while Prophets Voice is maybe not one to give up on just yet. Zoffman could go well but he’s more exposed than others. Nostringsattached ran well on debut and could go well if improving.
16:20 Dark Vega
With cheekpieces tried, DARK VEGA might be able to reverse last-time Sligo handicap form with Corky on 4lb better terms, though the latter won’t go down easily. Georgeta is capable if bouncing back, while Maristella has to be respected even off 12lb higher than her Galway romp. Plume Noire should handle this ground and isn’t ignored on seasonal debut.
16:55 Insulate
Having shown enough in maidens to be of interest on handicap debut, INSULATE could be the one in a tricky event. Dagoda is interesting for a yard that has come out of a quiet spell, while Everylittlestep and French Rescue are players if ready enough after their breaks.
17:30 Leabaland
A chance is taken on LEABALAND, who is just 3lb above his Gowran winning mark from earlier in the campaign and can improve from his run there last time. If Men Of Dreams can get away on terms, he has a strong shout, while Lucky Queen, Mymacushla and Wayne R Walker are interesting. Soilse needs a market check.
