Don’t know what a NAPs Table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the Table. Let’s get to the picks…
15:10 Punchestown – Once Upon A River (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)
ONCE UPON A RIVER was keen on reappearance at Roscommon where last of four in a conditions event, but was only beaten roughly 4l. Likely to come on for the run and he’s in the right hands to progress.
15:28 Redcar – Cosmos Raj (The Irish Field, Rory Delargy)
COSMOS RAJ got back to winning ways on his first go over 1m2f in a Ripon handicap in August. Last of six but creditable effort all the same there since and he needs considering eased 1lb.
15:55 Yarmouth – Admiralty House (Daily Record, Garry Owen)
ADMIRALTY HOUSE has a record of 0-6 but he didn’t get much luck before finishing well to go very close on his drop back to 1m2f at Newbury last month. 4lb higher here but he’s open to more progress and is a big player for in-form yard.
16:03 Redcar – It Just Takes Time (On The Nose, Expert Eye)
IT JUST TAKES TIME is a C&D winner who made it three success from his last four starts in 7.5f Beverley handicap 17 days ago. He’s firmly in the picture despite taking a 5lb rise in the weights.
