17:30 – GALORE
Preference is for Richard Hannon’s progressive filly GALORE, who knuckled down well when landing a C&D nursery last month and had two subsequent winners behind her that day. The main threat could come from Rowdown Roza, who really got her act together with a strong-finishing second behind the selection here last time. Gumais should make another bold bid and she’s respected back on AW, while another to consider is Aira Force, who looks interesting back up in trip on her nursery debut.

18:00 – RED TREASURE
There may well be more progress to come from RED TREASURE, who is taken to defy a penalty for her Southwell win. Miss Mai Tai is rather exposed now but she’s the main danger on form, some way ahead of Rebel Angel. A few others are open to improvement.
18:30 – ALEXANDRETTA
An open-looking maiden in which all of the runners with experience have placed form and some of the newcomers are interesting. The shortlist is headed by ALEXANDRETTA and Zarga who both earn bonus points for showing clear promise over this C&D. Third choice is Lady Dreamer, ahead of Lavender Beauty. Red Maids, Aurora Charm and Congruent look best of the debutantes (heed any positive market moves).
19:00 – STARSHOT
The most interesting contenders are the handicap newcomers STARSHOT, Sydney Mews and Lufu in that order of preference. Starshot and Sydney Mews are open to significant improvement upped in distance, while Lufu scored last time and could well have more to offer.
19:30 – RING FENCED
Treble Joy has ‘seconditis’ this year but he’s a leading player on form and commands respect. However, there are plausible alternatives who remain open to improvement, most notably RING FENCED whose spring races have worked out nicely. Pretending, Golden Glance and Parameter are also in the mix. As regards the newcomers, any positive market moves should be heeded.

20:00 – BUNKER BAY
Upped further in distance, dual silver medallist BUNKER BAY could well go one better. He has solid claims and looks the pick of the runners who already have handicap form. All of the handicap newcomers are interesting types, most notably the Frankel fillies Primi Ordinis (second choice) and Graph who are set for a rematch having raced against each other at Windsor six weeks ago.
20:30 – PICUAL (nap)
All of the three-year-olds are still open to further improvement, most notably PICUAL (nap) whose latest effort needs marking up. Croachill is feared most ahead of Good American then Dal Mallart.
