This is a sales race for two-year-olds over an extended 6f. COLD CASE really should take some beating and is proven with some juice in the ground with a fair third at Chester. It’s the York third behind Noble Style that stands out in the Gimcrack and I liked the way the horse kept on that day. Every chance for Andrea Atzeni and Karl Burke.

ITV show one race from Epsom which is a handicap over 1m 4f for jumps jockeys! THIBAULT mixes Flat racing and jumps racing and is crucially proven with cut in the ground with the heavens likely to open a few times before race time. Mu hope also has crucial track form having run a cracker at the course last time. Has each-way claims for Adam West and James Davies.

14:35 Doncaster – Dance In the Grass
A Group 2 in the May Hill for youngsters over 1m. Hard to get away from DANCE IN THE GRASS for the Johnstons and William Buick. Unbeaten in two starts at Sundown, the daughter of Cracksman kept on really well to score last time and should relish this distance.
15:10 Doncaster – ESHAADA
Another Group 2 here in the Park Hill over an extended 1m6f. A huge chance for Group 1 winner ESHAADA to get back to winning ways for Roger Varian and Jim Crowley. The ground should be perfect and while there was lots of talk about her Haydock race last time she was done no favours by the carnage. She then stayed on well once hampered. This trip might be what she’s been crying out for.
15:45 Doncaster – SPIRIT OF NGURU (each-way)
A handicap over 7f. Zainalarab keeps winning and may do so again. I’ll chance SPIRIT OF NGURU each-way as he’s proven with juice in the ground. This trip is perfect and while he’s been a little disappointing in two runs this season this is a chance to bounce back if the favourite flops.
