Dynamic Kate has clear claims despite coming up short off a lower mark last time and both Le Mur and Tara Niece are worth considering, but SWEET MOON is unexposed and she might be the answer on her handicap debut.
It’s a small field but a strong pace seems assured with Sofia’s Rock, Glimpse Of Gold and Nazwa unlikely to hang about. MIDNIGHTS LEGACY (nap) could have the class to defy 12st and he can beat Technological.
Last year’s winner Moans Cross could be dangerous again but he is hard to predict, whereas MIDNIGHT JEWEL is always a solid option. His recent chase debut was highly encouraging.
Graffiti and Mutara have the benefit of hurdling experience and, while it’s difficult to choose between the pair, Graffiti perhaps ran that bit better last time. One who might beat them both is CABRAKAN, who would have been the best of these on the Flat and it was a pleasing first recent run for Milton Harris on the AW.
First and fourth respectively on their hurdling debuts at Worcester, Call Me Tara and GIRLOFMYDREAMS look the two to concentrate on. Call Me Tara’s penalty is offset by Jack Hogan’s claim but Girlofmydreams had the better bumper form and is fancied to turn the tables with the experience under her belt. Missfit was getting her act together in the spring and should be involved too.
After two poor efforts it’s hard to work up much enthusiasm for Nelsons Rock but the other two are difficult to split. Drumlee Watar jumped more assuredly when winning at Worcester and should go well again but marginal preference is for CALL OF THE LOON who looked to have been transformed by a switch to Christian Williams when bolting up at Stratford and may well follow up.

Sister Sophie has the best form and should be thereabouts after nearly a year off but the most interesting contender is EMZARA who has had wind surgery since shaping better than the bare result on her debut last autumn. Spy Lady was disappointing when favourite on her rules debut but could leave that form behind in a change of equipment.
