Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the picks.

13:00 Kempton – Busselton (The Sun)

Following her surprise success on handicap debut at Southwell 12 days ago Tea Garden (second choice) shouldn’t be underestimated on this switch to Polytrack given that she remains open to further progress, but there are a couple in here who could take a step forward now switched to modest handicap company. One such candidate is BUSSELTON who hasn’t achieved much as yet, but is bred to be better than he has shown so far (out of a German Listed winner) and this could be the day he takes a step forward.

14:20 Haydock – Irish Lullaby (Racing Post)

A race packed with interesting and plausible contenders. The two best options may well be at the top of the weights, with IRISH LULLABY and Thundering having performed well in competitive 1m4f handicaps last time while looking very strong candidates for 1m6f. Jessica Harrington’s Nathaniel filly makes particular appeal. Sarsons Risk and Jacovec Cavern made a favourable impression with their wins at a lower level last week, while Tamilla makes the strongest appeal among a group of more lightly raced runners.

15:05 Navan – Tide Of Time (Expert Eye)

A cracking contest. There was so much to like about TIDE OF TIME‘s recent Bellewstown heroics that an 8lb rise may not be enough to stop him. King Of Bavaria is the main danger and he’s likely to be right there again after a good second at the Curragh last week. Curraheen Princess is enjoying a good campaign and should be involved, as should Harmony Rose. Only Spoofing is foolish to ignore given his record here, while Sablonne is interesting back in handicap company.

15:10 Ascot – Inver Park (Times)

Fresh is set to go well again but INVER PARK sealed the race in good style when winning here in June in his first ever 7f turf handicap and there is a good chance he can improve further back at this trip. Among a host of dangers, Aratus looked to be running into form when first home on his side behind Fresh in July and Tactical can also have a case made on his sixth to Inver Park in June. Documenting and Ropey Guest are others with convincing C&D form, while the return to a stiff 7f is likely to suit Golden Voice.
