It’s a roll-over week in Paddy’s free-to-play weekly competition, meaning there’s a massive £/€50k jackpot up for grabs.

I’m going for SPIRIT OF THE BAY for Rossa Ryan and Clive Cox. She got in front too soon at Sandown last time out but she has won at Kempton twice before.
14:55 Haydock – Contact
Ruby Walsh
Soulcombe bolted up in the Melrose at York last time out but he’s risen up to an official rating of 97 for that. He may still be well in but I’m going to take a chance on CONTACT. He won here off 90 back in May and he also had a solid run at Ascot in June. He didn’t get the run of the race at Newmarket last time out so I’ll forgive that.
15:15 Kempton – Flag Flying
Rory Delargy
Impressive when winning a Novice at Goodwood in June, but FLAG FLYING been off three months. He was well fancied that day to win by four lengths and has been given plenty of time to develop as the Charlton team never rush their juveniles – and hopefully they can reap the reward now.
15:30 Haydock – Castle Star
Ruby Walsh
I’m going for CASTLE STAR – but I have slight concerns about where he’s drawn. Brad The Brief could show a bit of pace over that side which could suit Castle Star, who has a chance at a big price. He ran well behind Perfect Power last year but he’s only had the one run this season. He will get the 6f so he’ll do me!
16:05 Haydock – Atalis Bay
Rory Delargy
Ran very well in this race in this contest last year, ATALIS BAY has had no luck in running in his last two start this season – most recently when a fast finisher at York, but just edged out at the end.
