14:20 – Circle of Fire

The Hannon yard have a good record in this race and both Red Fort and Roman Spring shaped with promise on their respective debuts. Tabaretta should be involved in the finish, but CIRCLE OF FIRE could be the answer. The penny dropped late on when he finished third at Leicester last month and he should be a lot more streetwise with that run behind him.

14:50 – Eximious

Honeymooner and Quantum Light have achieved the most and should go well but there are some likely improvers lurking in the wings. Keep Me Stable falls into that category but so does EXIMIOUS and Roger Varian’s filly could take a big step forward from her promising Newmarket debut. Doom may prove best of the newcomers.

15:20 – Immortal Beauty

A fascinating renewal of this Group 3 prize with some unexposed potential improvers taking on a few who already have form in Group races. The selection is a graduate of nurseries, though, with IMMORTAL BEAUTY (nap) having impressed in winning her last two starts. She looks well worth her place at this level and can provide Richard Hannon with a fourth win in the race since 2017. Juliet Sierra is second choice, with All The Time also greatly respected and So Sleepy likely to outrun her odds.

15:55 – Another Romance

This should be run at a good pace with Al Simmo and Cuban Breeze in the field. Makarova looks set to go well at a track where she boasts an unbeaten record, while Crazy Luck (second choice) is better than she has been able to show on her last two starts. ANOTHER ROMANCE has been beaten four times off this mark in handicaps but she continues to leave the impression that a bigger run is around the corner. This could be her day.

The Roger Varian-trained Indemnify could prove better than his opening mark but preference is for the fast-improving PERSIAN ROYAL, who completed a hat-trick in fine style at Newbury three weeks ago. Cabinet Of Clowns could also be in the mix with the step up to 1m looking to be a positive move.

16:56 – Makinmedoit

General Lee can go well from the front and cheekpieces could be the answer for Rogue Rocket but if the recent switches in distance haven’t blown her off course MAKINMEDOIT could be the pick over a trip that promises to suit her best. Gangway has his share of weight but he is in good form and could prove the main danger.
