Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

FANCY A CHANCE TO WIN £/€25K?

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

13:50 Goodwood – Bright Diamond (The Scotsman, Glendale)

BRIGHT DIAMOND looked hot property when running out a wide-margin winner on her recent debut at Newmarket. It remains to be seen if that was too good to be true but the time she clocked from halfway bodes well, and she’s clearly a strong contender for a stable with serious depth in this division. Breeding casts some doubt about her handling these softer conditions.

14:40 Beverley – Ainsdale (The Irish Field, Rory Delargy)

AINSDALE was a useful sprinter on his day for Karl Burke, fourth of 12 in Group 3 at Ascot last autumn. Below that form in similar event at Newcastle on stable/seasonal debut but he might have needed that run and his yard has had an excellent August. Effective at 5f and well drawn.

15:00 Goodwood – Perfect Alibi (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

PERFECT ALIBI won a maiden at Newbury in May, down the field in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot and won a six-runner handicap back at Newbury six weeks ago. Both wins from the front, 1m6f is well worth a second go and her latest form is competitive with Hoo Ya Mal’s latest.

15:35 Goodwood – Jadoomi (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

JADOOMI is a lightly raced 4yo who showed the benefit of a gelding operation with a gutsy reappearance win in Listed race at Clairefontaine in July. That was an improved effort and he may not have reached his limit just yet. Usually races up with the pace and is high on the list.
