WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
16:05 – Irv
Cianciana travelled strongly for a long way before asserting at Newcastle last week and is respected, but IRV has quickly built up a very good rapport with Becky Smith this summer and today’s drop back from 1m4f might enable the partnership to succeed again.
16:41 – Aihawawi
Course winner Taritino is a likely contender, assuming today’s drop in trip suits, but an interesting alternative is AIHAWAWI, who arguably shaped with more promise than the bare form suggests when midfield in a good 7f novice at Doncaster last month. David O’Meara’s colt showed some good early speed there and can benefit from this drop back to 6f. Azucena and Madam Florence are two speculative options to consider each-way.
FANCY A CHANCE TO WIN £/€25K?
17:15 – Cite D’Or
Unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding newcomer Bowleaze this should develop into a straight fight between previous winners Saleet and CITE D’OR, with preference for the latter.
17:50 – Chief Of Staff
Diamondonthehill (second choice) arrives at the top of his game and looks sure to go well back at the scene of his win at the beginning of the month. Pisanello and lightly raced handicap-newcomer Willard Creek also command plenty of respect, but the vote goes to CHIEF OF STAFF. Saeed bin Suroor’s representative was clear with an improving 3yo at Newbury last time and effecitvely runs off the same mark if Stefano Cherchi’s 3lb claim is factored into calculations.
18:20 – Wise Eagle
Danny Tudhope got a really good tune out of WISE EAGLE at Musselburgh earlier in the week and the pair may well be hard to beat. Fellow last-time-out Musselburgh scorer Arrange can follow him home.
18:50 – As If By Chance
A competitive sprint in which several can have their case argued. Surprise Picture (second choice) can go well back into a Class 5 on quick ground, while Impeller, Hail Sezer, Classy Al and Kendred Fire also have something in their favour. Nigel Tinkler saddles a couple of live candidates in Prodigious Blue and AS IF BY CHANCE, though, and the latter could be the answer with the visor back on.

19:20 – Hurstwood
Dreamcasing is not yet fully exposed and will need to be taken very seriously if he turns up here but the suggestion is HURSTWOOD, who got back on track with a C&D win last month and ought to be able to cope with today’s 5lb higher mark. Dirchill is next on the list.
19:50 – Isle Of Dreams (NAP)
Aconcagua Mountain needed every yard of the 5f when winning here on his recent stable debut and is open to further improvement back at 6f, but progressive filly ISLE OF DREAMS (nap) is thriving at present and she’s another who could have untapped potential over this trip.
