13:15 – Dreamcasing

An open contest where the suggestion is to side with DREAMCASING on his return to the same C&D over which he went close on his penultimate start. Polam Lane is next best, while Yazaman remains of interest after there was good support for him last time.

13:45 – She’s Hot

Pol Roger opened his account in likeable style at Haydock and has more to offer but still looks to have it all on conceding 12lb to Albany ninth SHE’S HOT, who can get off the mark with this step up to 1m a likely positive. Super Spy could prove best of the newcomers and is the pick of the remainder.

14:20 – Kittykarma

The standard set by Anjo Bonita’s close third over 7f here last time isn’t beyond the reach of a fast improver, and the promise shown by both KITTYKARMA and Rose Of Ithaca on their respective debuts gains them preference over the Hammond filly in that order. The longer trip should be all to the good for both. Berwick Law, a better drawn likely pace influence than Anjo Bonita, can step up on her own debut effort also. 

14:55 – Intrinsic Bond (NAP)

Plenty are in with a shout. Pendleton is weighted to go well if on his A-game after a break and sole 3yo Parisiac commands lots of respect on the back of his breakthrough handicap success at Doncaster. Baba Reza is an outsider to consider but this could rest between the thriving duo INTRINSIC BOND (nap) and Good Earth who came home 1-2 in the Great St Wilfrid at Ripon (race already starting to work out well) and can repeat the measure here.

15:30 – Air To Air

An interesting contest where plenty arrive in form and the suggestion is the topweight AIR TO AIR who still looks to have more to come. Carnival Zain is enjoying a super season and is perhaps the main danger, with Persuasion much respected.

16:00 – Selfish Brian

A really tight-knit first division on adjusted RPRs. Wheal Kitty (next best) makes the most appeal of the plethora of likely pace influences, not least with a better stall than when recording the only C&D success in the line-up, but a chance is taken on the often more patiently ridden SELFISH BRIAN finding this teed up sufficiently to recoup losses when well backed here last time. Cobra Kai rounds off the shortlist.

16:30 – Ravenglass

This is probably between last-time-out winners RAVENGLASS and On The River, with preference for the Fahey runner who has started to improve and has had eight starts compared to his rival’s 16. Boasted has had just four and is moving up in trip on her second run in a handicap, so she is unexposed.

17:05 – Riggsby

A case can be made for virtually all of these but it could be worth siding with RIGGSBY. He travelled strongly for a long way before his stamina gave out over 2m1f at Carlisle last time and he can gain a first turf success now back on his last winning mark. Both The Predictor (second choice) and Levitate were not seen to best effect at Haydock last time and are taken to provide most danger.
