Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

£/€10K COULD BE YOURS ON FRIDAY!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

14:05 Carlisle – John Kirkup (Racing Post)

An open race in which the vote goes to nine-time sprint winner JOHN KIRKUP, who is well treated on his win at Musselburgh in May and turned things around with a close call over 5f here ten days ago. Langholm and Sir Benedict are feared most in that order, though Vince Lombardi travelled smoothly for a long way at Ayr last time and looks interesting on his drop back to 6f. The other one on the shortlist is Blazing Hot, who could be dangerous on his step back up in trip.

15:35 York – The Platinum Queen (Daily Record)

This should be a terrific spectacle as the 2yo THE PLATINUM QUEEN attempts to dish out the same medicine to her older rivals as she has to her contemporaries of late. The Middleham Park filly settled better when breaking the 2yo track record at Goodwood than she had here previously and hopefully will conserve her energy back on this track. Rain-softened ground would raise questions but that also applies to the other potential star Royal Aclaim, so impressive over C&D last time but having more to do today. Khaadem held off Raasel at Goodwood recently and both can have a case made, but last year’s winner Winter Power has not looked the same filly this year. The 2021 third Dragon Symbol is finding his feet for new connections and can go well at a price.

15:50 Newbury – Frantastic (The Sun)

A few of these have something to prove after their latest runs, although Guilin and Youthful King should be suited by the return to 1m2f. FRANTASTIC didn’t make the grade in Group company earlier in the year, but he ran encouragingly in a Sandown handicap recently and looks to have been found a good opening here. Guilin is next best.

16:10 York – Amanzoe (Racing Ahead)

Shampion impressed when winning a novice at Windsor recently and has the potential to be superior to her opening mark, but preference is for AMANZOE who is firmly on the up and can land the four-timer. State Occasion and Reel Rosie also arrive on the back of wins and could be involved.
