Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

13:50 York – Dakota Gold (Irish Herald, Ian Gaughran)

DAKOTA GOLD has a record of 6-12 at York, including wins in this race in 2019 and 6f event at this year’s Dante meeting. Creditable second at Newcastle and Ripon the last twice. Respected back here in the first of Paddy’s Pick 5 races with a daily £/€10k prize fund at York, especially granted his optimum ground.

15:35 York – Mishriff (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

MISHRIFF was a commanding winner of this race last year on his sole visit to York and it’s likely he’d have won the Eclipse at Sandown last month with a clear run. It’s a concern he was very slowly away when an 11l third of six in the 1m4f King George at Ascot last time but he’s back to his optimum trip here and could pose a big threat to Baaeed if reproducing the same brilliant form he displayed here 12 months ago.

15:50 Musselburgh – Manigordo (The Scotsman, Glendale)

MANIGORDO had an off day behind Abduction at Catterick but back here 12 days ago he finished strongly to deny that rival. Only 2lb higher and looks sure to be involved once more.

19:10 Worcester – Paris Dixie (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)

PARIS DIXIE became disappointing for Nicky Henderson but step back in the right direction when close second over 2m here on last month’s stable debut. Stays this trip so well worth considering.
