Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

14:50 Ripon – Summerghand (Telegraph)

There is no doubt this lacks the depth of many previous renewals but there are still a number of sprinters of interest. On his first run for a new yard, Blackrod still has some potential and is sure to be popular but he finished behind SUMMERGHAND in the Wokingham when not looking to have any real excuse and he may well do so again. David O’Meara’s stalwart ran into plenty of trouble in the Stewards’ Cup last time but he looks to retain a big chunk of his ability and can exploit his drop in the weights. Don’t rule out a big run from topweight Misty Grey, while last year’s winner Justanotherbottle is also more than capable of featuring.

14:55 Curragh – Goodnight Girl (Racing Post)

A few have claims but GOODNIGHT GIRL makes most appeal after a solid run in a more competitive handicap last time. Sarah Lynam’s filly goes well at this venue and the yard do particularly well with their sprinters. Sister Rosetta should be involved if she can back up last week’s success at Naas but she hasn’t been the most consistent.

15:35 Newbury – Dubai Poet (The Sun)

Several have possibilities in quite an open Hungerford Stakes. The suggestion is DUBAI POET, who ran very well from an unfavourable draw in the Jersey Stakes and may have more to offer over 7f. Second choice is Double Or Bubble who, like the selection, could well rate higher still. Chindit (third choice) warrants respect even with a 3lb penalty, while Tiber Flow, Pogo and Happy Romance are also in the mix.

16:28 Newmarket – Stone Of Destiny (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

Mums Tipple did best of the prominent runners when fourth in a big-field 7f event at Glorious Goodwood and he’s an interesting contender with Frankie Dettori booked on this return to sprinting. C&D winner Ingra Tor is also respected on his drop back in trip, while last year’s runner-up Rathbone could make a serious impact if he can bounce back again. However, it might be worth siding with STONE OF DESTINY, who is very well treated on his best form last year and didn’t get any luck in the Stewards’ Cup consolation race last time.
