This can go the way of RIVER RAIN who was just behind Alaroos at Galway last time but can reverse the form back on quicker ground. Lizzy’s Filly is another that ran well at Galway and Raving Royal can bounce back from a poor run last month.

Not a maiden that will take a massive amount of winning. Explorers Way is the more likely of the two Joseph O’Brien runners to go close, but the overall form of FIRST EMPEROR sets the standard and he could be hard to beat.

Question marks over a few of these. Lamprog might be high enough in the handicap. Butterfly Garden finds it difficult to win, and maybe it is worth giving one more try to RIHANI in first-time blinkers if he can run to his Limerick form.
18:30 – Lemon Ice
Plenty of these have bits and pieces of chances. Wojood came back to form in a handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe on Monday, but the unexposed LEMON ICE (nap) just ran out of steam over 1m5f at Down Royal last time and this trip should be ideal for a progressive filly.

Competitive and plenty have chances. Pale Moonlight was just touched off at Galway and can go close. World Famous is in good form and is likely to appreciate this trip. The selection is ROYAL EAGLE, just touched off at Dundalk last month but in fine form after winning over hurdles at Galway.
19:30 – Gibraltar
An 8lb rise looks manageable for GIBRALTAR who won going away at Leopardstown last time and he’s unexposed over staying trips on the Flat. Stablemate Dark Voayager can go well again and Monas Melody can bounce back on quicker ground after disappointing at Galway.
20:00 – Swelltime
An open contest which includes last year’s winner Majestic Jewel off the same mark for a new stable. Barometer is going the right way and can go close. Preference though is for SWELLTIME, easy winner of a Kilbeggan handicap hurdle who should be able to exploit a mark of 47.
