16:20 – Oh So Lovely

No match for an odds-on favourite at Leopardstown, OH SO LOVELY may be equal to this less demanding task. The form of the stable is a concern in respect of Zaniyka, but the 82-rated filly will pose a big threat if reacting well to the addition of blinkers. Newcomer Redressed is interesting, and Livia Celeste is not out of it on her best form.

16:50 – Complete Fiction

A slow start made it difficult for COMPLETE FICTION here last time but he ran on to good effect to take fourth place and may reverse form with third-placed Spirituoso. Others to consider are Barretstown, second in three of his last four races, and Out On Friday who shaped well at a big price Leopardstown last week.

17:20 – Lyrical Poetry

An interesting race. Didn’thavemuchtodo comes in here as a very intriguing runner on a hat-trick mission. A good standard is set by her stable companion Emphatic Answer on her narrow defeat in a Curragh Group 2 in May, but preference is for the slightly less exposed LYRICAL POETRY, a good second in the Gallinule Stakes before running out of steam in the Pretty Polly.

17:55 – Clounmacon

His fourth in the Ballyhane Stakes should make Victoria Road capable of winning most maidens, but the one to be on here should be CLOUNMACON (nap), whose Curragh second last month is already working out well and he looks a nice prospect.

18:30 – Spanish Tenor

A trappy race in which a few of these come into it with a question or two to answer. The drop in trip might not be ideal for Hale Bopp but he should go well. The unexposed Pearle D’Or is fascinating, as is Andreas Vesalius on his first try at the trip. There will be plenty of pace on, and if previous C&D winner SPANISH TENOR can get to the front from an outside draw he could be hard to peg back.

19:05 – Barnhill Rose

This looks like another good opportunity for BARNHILL ROSE, a Naas winner last month and close up in third behind Helmet Star (first reserve) over C&D three days later. The lightly-raced Endless Season and the very experienced Eleuthera could be in the mix. The ground may be a bit quick for Roscommon winner Dutch Schaefer.

19:35 – Mullacash Buzz

Quite a competitive handicap. Leopardstown claimer winner Cedar Rapids should go well, as should the unexposed Glandore Harbour, while Fastman and the consistent Clarinbridge come into it among others. A tentative selection goes the way of MULLACASH BUZZ, who may have gone a shade too quick when touched off by Zaur here last month. He can turn the tables.

20:10 – Safecracker

Back in form at Leopardstown last week after a below-par Curragh run, SAFECRACKER may record his first win of the season. Malabu Drive is 4lb wrong at the weights but has potential for improvement. Mctigue should not be far away if getting the trip. Inuit has been keeping better company than this and should hold his own in his first handicap.
