Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

15:40 Brighton – Granary Queen (Daily Record)

Tony Carroll ran four in this in 2019, when De Vegas Kid had Poetic Force back in third, and the former, who can never be discounted round here when there’s likely to be a decent pace on, looks the pick of his quartet. Last year’s winner Zulu Girl, whose record over C&D reads 2111, should do better but this could be set up for the strong-travelling GRANARY QUEEN, who’s progressed lately for the cheekpieces going back on.

16:30 Newcastle – Miss Britain (Racing Post)

Dandys Gold comes here in good order and should go well, while recent C&D second Lady Celia and the lightly-raced 3yos Trois Vallees and Roshambo will have their supporters. MISS BRITAIN still looks on a handy mark on the pick of her 6f form though and she may well prove the answer on her AW debut.

17:15 Kempton – Sandy Paradise (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

The likes of Opticality, who ran so well behind a well-treated winner on her handicap debut, and Dewey Road, a strong finisher from off the pace for his new yard at Lingfield, provide strong opposition but SANDY PARADISE should be heartened by getting his head in front back on the AW and should have another race in him. Four Feet was going the right way on sand before a turf failure last month and is another to consider despite the highest draw.

17:20 Pontefract – Commandment (The Times)

Corinthia Knight is sure to be popular given his record at the track and current wellbeing. He is one of a number who like to get on with it in this field, though, and he may prove vulnerable. Haymaker (second choice) still has his best days ahead of him, while Run This Way would become of some interest if the ground softens, but this may be run to suit COMMANDMENT. Ed Dunlop’s filly got the better of Clarets Glory over C&D last month and didn’t find the leaders coming back when only third at Yarmouth last time. Rain wouldn’t bother her and she still has some potential as a sprinter.
