13:25 Ffos Las – Our Jester (Racing Ahead, Ben Morgan)

Dual bumper winner who ran well in the big one at Cheltenham; OUR JESTER has shown plenty in qualifying runs switched to the Flat, notably when going close against a subsequent winner/Royal Ascot fourth at Bath in May (1m3f, good); yard 8-24 here in last five years; good claims in first handicap.

15:00 Ffos Las – Senorita (Daily Record, Gary Owen)

SENORITA is a low-mileage 3yo who opened her account with emphatic C&D (soft) win from the front eight days ago, her second handicap; recorded a slow time that day and is back on much quicker ground this time but still commands respect under 6lb penalty.

16:15 Catterick – Thunder Flash (Myracing.com)

THUNDER FLASH has improved for cheekpieces then visor on last two 1m4f starts, finding plenty at Leicester in July (good to soft); up 4lb but not overburdened and can improve further in only his fourth start in a 1m4f turf handicap.

19:50 Kempton – Prop Forward (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

Two wins last August; PROP FORWARD fluffed his lines on his handicap debut in October, after which he was gelded; showed what he could do when bolting up in a 5f handicap at Southwell (first-time hood, retained today) on New Year’s Day, a performance that saw him hiked 11lb up the weights; still has time to do better and going back over 6f is no concern; interesting despite a seven-month absence.
