Horse Racing Tips: 4/1 play leads the way at Market Rasen today

The Racing Post think Railway Muice (14:45) is the pick of the plays.

13:00 – Captain Square

Via Serica showed enough on the Flat to suggest he can make a race of this if he takes well to hurdling but this looks a very good opportunity for CAPTAIN SQUARE to add to his Newton Abbot win.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

13:35 – We’ll Go Again

This is a weak maiden and if Sam England can get the best out of WE’LL GO AGAIN then this new recruit should take some beating. The selection was competitive on the Flat and over hurdles in Ireland. Kingston Sunflower is not straightforward but has the ability to threaten.

14:10 – Pencreek

Thursday’s easy Stratford winner PENCREEK will take the world of beating under a penalty if he’s as good again three days on. Dindin deserves a break and he’s the danger.

14:45 – Railway Muice

Dual point winner Kinondo Kwetu ended last season with a hurdle win and could easily have a lot more to offer over fences this term but slight preference is for dual course winner RAILWAY MUICE, who is on a workable mark and returns here after a pretty good effort in higher-grade company at Perth six weeks ago. Zoffalee is next on the list.

15:20 – Mac Suibhne (NAP)

Micky Hammond’s MAC SUIBHNE (nap) is effectively 6lb higher than when fourth at Worcester 17 days ago but a bad stumble at the end of the back straight didn’t help his cause there, and he lost further ground when forced to switch wide off the home turn. He won quite cosily over 2m4f here on his stable debut two starts ago and looks interesting on his first attempt at a staying trip under rules. Belles Benefit drops in grade after a good second at Cartmel two weeks ago and is second choice, ahead of Landen Calling.

15:50 – Ince

This can go to INCE, who held on well from a bang-in-form mare and another next-time-out winner to make all at Worcester this month and is not yet fully exposed. The fourth from that race, My Poem, benefits from Toby Wynne’s useful 7lb claim here and is feared most. Good Bye usually makes his jockey work hard but he started off for Sara Ender with two seconds this month and it will be interesting to see whether he travels more sweetly in first-time cheekpieces today.

16:20 – Fox’s Socks

Alex Hales’ 7yo FOX’S SOCKS went up 4lb for last month’s Hexham second but he ran a big race there and the winner was placed in a valuable race on his next outing. He gets the vote ahead of Casamari Abbey, who gave an excellent account of himself in a Cartmel chase last month and is also suited by this track.

16:50 – Tomona

Laura Morgan’s newcomer Sea Poem will need to be taken very seriously if strong in the betting but TOMONA began her career with two promising efforts and is selected to open her account here. Emily Wade showed enough at Hexham last month to suggest she can also play a significant role.
