14:00 – Merlin Giant

Not a bad contest at all. Gamin Original looks the best of Willie Mullins’ two runners ahead of Hubrisko despite a year on the sidelines. Riaan is a very interesting newcomer for Gordon Elliott while bumper winner Rexem is going the right way. Preference is for MERLIN GIANT who showed ability on his hurdles debut at Punchestown and was narrowly defeated in a Flat maiden here on Wednesday.

14:30 – Ilikedwayurthinkin

A really competitive contest. La Prima Donna looks the chosen one of Willie Mullins. Fils D’Oudairies should go well on his debut for Gordon Elliott, while Ambitious Fellow has good claims for the in-form Peter Fahey. Hallowed Star and The Little Yank can also go close, but the one to be on could well be dual course winner ILIKEDWAYURTHINKIN whose latest run can be ignored but comes into it very much on his runs at Aintree and Ballinrobe.

15:05 – Hiawatha

Agathon and Trident Star are clearly very interesting newcomers. Serious Challenge should deliver just that after his promising debut here on Monday, but it is hard to look beyond the well entered HIAWATHA who should show the benefit of his Killarney debut.

15:40 – Olympicus

The Weld filly Touching Clouds will be well-fancied after an eyecatching debut effort but OLYMPICUS showed a nice bit of progression when fourth at Killarney and can come forward again. Samuel Pepys and The Vik are others who should run well.

16:15 – Pandora Lovegood

Any rain that falls will help PANDORA LOVEGOOD and she can follow up her impressive victory at Roscommon. The joint topweights Congo River and Goa Gajah are obvious dangers and, getting a stone off that pair, Yamazaki is a potential improver having shown glimmers of ability in maidens.

16:45 – Excuzio Joe

It’s always easy to get suckered into backing unlucky losers next time but at least EXCUZIO JOE has a previous C&D win to her name as well as her fourth here on Tuesday when she didn’t get the clearest of runs. She can make amends if getting the breaks this time. My Minervina is on a roll and merits respect while Khafaaq and Zephron are two that could go well at longer odds.

17:20 – Fennor Cross (NAP)

There are any number of dangers but it may pay to stick with the likeable FENNOR CROSS (nap) who has won four of his last five and promises to be suited by stepping up in trip. Alma Libre and Kojin should go well and the two British raiders, Aqwaam and Kaaranah, add further intrigue.

17:55 – Carrigmoorna Queen

Not the most competitive of contests. Lady Of The Vale looks to be going the right way and Our Girl Sal looks the best of the unknown quantities, but this should be at the mercy of CARRIGMOORNA QUEEN who can do better than her Punchestown debut and looks hard to oppose.
