Fancy a free shot at £30k?

Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets.

13:50 Goodwood – Vee Sight (On The Nose, Expert Eye)

Reappeared at Sandown (1m1f, good to firm) last month having been gelded and improved for the step up in trip to power clear and justify market support; VEE SIGHT‘s fine pedigree suggests he could take an 8lb rise in his stride, especially with this extra furlong a likely plus, and he’s a strong candidate.

15:00 Goodwood – Hoo Ya Mal (Daily Record, Garry Owen)

HOO YA MAL outran his 150-1 odds behind Desert Crown in the Derby last time out, although was a fortunate second as he would have been third if Westover had better luck; subsequently sold out of Andrew Balding’s yard for £1,200,000; now goes in a tongue-tie, which replaces usual hood; leading player provided he backs up the Epsom form.

16:45 Goodwood – Le Beau Garcon (Daily Mirror, Newsboy)

The winner of two of his three starts as a 2yo; very promising reappearance at Musselburgh (behind Sophie’s Star) when LE BEAU GARCON looked rusty and events conspired against him; only seventh in a hot 6f handicap at Newmarket three weeks ago when leaving the impression a return to 5f would suit; likely there’s a bigger effort in him and a strongly run race at this trip may prove ideal; interesting.

17:05 Galway – Ballyadam (Mirror Online, Melissa Jones)

Won a Grade 1 novice hurdle the season before last; but BALLYADAM tailed off in Liffey Handicap Hurdle at Leopardstown in February; much more like it when long-priced fifth in the County Hurdle; no winner with this weight since 1999.
