17:00 – Ebasari

A competitive 2-mile Handicap Hurdle kicks-off the Friday action at Galway where EBASARI can go close for Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy. Despite running badly in the Fred Winter at Cheltenham, the son of Lope De Vega bounced back with a confidence boosting victory at Downpatrick earlier this month. He previously beat Adamantly Chosen at Cork earlier this year and can be competitive of a 123 rating back in handicap company for a stable in red-hot form.

17:30 – Keep In Touch

It was great to see Dermot Weld getting back to winning ways with Tahiyra earlier this week and the Master of Rosewell can secure another winner with KEEP IN TOUCH. The daughter of Tamayuz was very much an eye-catcher on debut at Naas, finishing fourth to Aidan O’Brien’s Auguste Rodin. That was a lovely performance considering the stable has been battling a virus and she can improve to score despite a wide draw in stall 15.

18:35 – Dha Leath

DHA LEATH has been improving rapidly over the past year and can find more to land this 1-mile 4-furlong Premier Handicap. The son of Mehmas has won three of his four starts this season for Gavin Cromwell having left Garvan Donnelly’s yard back in April. The step-up in trip can bring out further improvement and he can challenge from stall 6 under Gavin Ryan – the jockey has enjoyed an excellent week and continues to ride with confidence which is also a positive here at Ballybrit.

19:10 – Honeycomb

Ask has had plenty of chances to break her maiden for Aidan O’Brien, so it might be worth taking a chance on stablemate HONEYCOMB in this 1-mile 4-furlong Fillies Maiden. The daughter of Galileo has improved and gained more experience in her three starts to date, which included a good second at Killarney earlier this month. A further step-up in trip and the stamina test of Galway can see her score and keep her head in-front of both Ask and Stellar Storm.
