Fancy winning £/€10k every day at Goodwood?
Goodwood 13:50 – West End Charmer
WEST END CHARMER has not been the easiest to train with only 12 starts in four-and-a-half seasons. He was good enough to easily win a Newmarket handicap over 10f off a mark of 100 back in June 2020 and was only beaten 2l when the 4/1 fav for the Duke Of Edinburgh on his next start when 4lbs higher. My selection missed the rest of that season and only had one start last year, when beaten a length in a Listed race over this course and distance. He has since been gelded and ran well when second here to Majestic Dawn on reappearance before an excellent fifth in the Wolferton where he travelled really well. West End Charmer drops back into handicap company and is likely to be handy if he can get out quickly from stall 14.

Goodwood 14:25 – Dornoch Castle
DORNOCH CASTLE easily beat the now 90-rated Coco Jack on debut at Haydock before following up when a 1/6 shot at Ayr under a penalty. The horse in fourth that day, Feel The Need, has come out and won since. Trainer Mark Johnston won this in 2018 with Dark Vision and my pick will keep going off the front here. He looks a fair each-way play to me!

Goodwood 15:00 – Sacred
The last time a three-year-old won this was in 2013 and I’m not sure about this generation yet. SACRED was good enough to Saffron Beach in the Nell Gwyn last season and only managed two other starts due to her need for fast ground – a non-staying seventh in the 1000 Guineas before beating Laneqash in the Hungerford, which had subsequent Group 1 winner Dreamloper back in fourth. She was excellent staying on for fifth in the Platinum Jubilee on reappearance at Royal Ascot.
Goodwood 15:35 – Kyprios
KYPRIOS is the new kid on the block and has improved for stepping up to staying trips. He has won three on the bounce this season, including the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot, which he won despite a poor position and sedate pace. He will take all the beating here.

Galway 17:10 – Amir Kabir
AMIR KABIR is rated 87 on the Flat and won nicely on hurdles debut at Roscommon three weeks ago, despite being weak in the market. Tax For Max is the one to beat but he is hardly the most resolute or consistent so Amir Kabir might be a spot of value against him!
Galway 17:40 – Midnight Run
MIDNIGHT RUN was very weak in the market on reappearance on the Flat last week at Ballinrobe but won very easily. He was running a big race in the Drinmore when falling three out when last seen over Jumps and had been a couple of lengths back in fourth to Gabynako, Fury Road and Max Flamingo at Fairyhouse prior to that. My pick will be tough to beat if running to that level here.
Galway 18:40 – Mosala
MOSALA was third in this last year off 93 and is now down to a mark of 89. He ran a cracker last time at Leopardstown over 10f and was only nabbed late on after being ridden more forward than he had been last season.
