17:10 – Hms Seahorse

The 132-rated HMS SEAHORSE sets the standard to aim for here, and will be difficult to keep at bay. Fourth in the Boodles, and third in the Champion Four-Year-Old Hurdle at Punchestown behind Vauban, he was a facile winner of the Ragusa handicap on the flat 29 days ago, which should have him cherry ripe for today’s task, and this looks a fine piece of placing by his astute handler. As Tears Go By and Gaoth Chuil could well emerge as the main dangers.

17:40 – Delightfantastic

Really competitive for the class, as you would expect. Listentillitellyea and She Tops The Lot look the pace angles. Golf Marin will want a strong pace. DELIGHTFANTASTIC hacked up at Tipperary. Sil Ver Klass is respected. The dark one is Deja Rouge.

18:10 – Tiverton

Not quite as dominant in this race in recent years as in the past, Dermot Weld can set the record straight here courtesy of TIVERTON. A highly creditable second when not unsupported on debut at Curragh, the Group One-entered son of Expert Eye will be well fancied to go one better here. Pivotal Trigger, Serious Challenge and Cairo are likely to be strong opponents.

18:40 – Powerful Aggie

As competitve as ever. Willie Mullins has a serious hand to play with quite a few of his runners likely to be to the fore in the market, the pick of which could well be Echoes In Rain. Runner-up behind Honeysuckle in the Punchestown Champion Hurdle, her claims are obvious for all to see, whilst stablemate Lot Of Joy will also be the focus of much attention. That said, preference is for last season’s October handicap winner POWERFUL AGGIE (nap). Tried in Listed class the last twice, she gives the impression she has more left to come. At a price Dutch Schultz appeals as an each-way player.

19:15 – Bells On Her Toes

The draw could have worked out better, but with quite a few of the fancied ones in the same boat, a chance is taken on BELLS ON HER TOES coing out on top. A Gowran Park winner, she shaped nicely at same on her most recent start and she should handle the hustle and bustle here as well as any. Band Width is drawn out even wider but should go well if he gets the rub of the green, whilst Dairerin, Girl Crush and Eriskay will also be popular.

19:50 – War Correspondent

A cracking race and ideal each-way terms so no incentives are needed to get involved. Common Practice is reluctantly opposed after winning readily at the Curragh. WAR CORRESPONDENT was really eye-catching at Dundalk and has Lee’s help, if not that of the draw. Irish Lullaby is progressing. Impero seems to be backed every day he runs.

20:20 – The Twelve Pins

This should be a lively, old-school betting heat. Willie Mullins runs three, Patrick aboard Bukhill but THE TWELVE PINS‘ pedigree is more appealing. The trainer’s nephew Emmet runs a horse with an unorthodox profile for the race, This Songisforyou. Perhaps Western Comandor can go well.
