There are some interesting newcomers on show, notably Gotta Show Me and Verbasca, while marked improvement from Madam Macho would come as no surprise. Haughty and Fahari have claims but CANDLE OF HOPE looked promising at Newbury and she can make light of her penalty over a trip that should suit well.
14:20 Lupset Flossy Pop
The maiden winners Miss Brazen and Rum Cmc (preferred in that order) both have pretty sound credentials but LUPSET FLOSSY POP took a pleasing step forward when third at Hamilton last month and, after only two runs, she may be the one with most potential.
14:50 Metahorse
All three runners won on their latest start. Urban Sprawl has improved with each start and should make them all go but METAHORSE powered home at Chester two weeks ago and he can take another step forward tackling 7f for the first time.
15:25 Bazalgette
A tough betting event with most of the field having something to prove. Cobra Kai has strong claims if anywhere near his best but this looks weaker than BAZALGETTE is accustomed to and he can defy top weight.

The unexposed Pink Crystal is sure to be popular on her turf debut having been left with plenty to do at Wolverhampton last time. She’s up against a tough opponent in WOODLANDS CHARM (nap) though and Nigel Tinkler’s filly can take another step up the sprinting ladder.
16:35 Levitate
Most of these have something to recommend them but it may pay to concentrate on the three 3yo representatives. Stormbreaker and Grimsby Town can win races over 2m but this may be the day that LEVITATE shows his true colours.
